Varun Didwania
Varun Didwania is a Director with Helix Investments Management LLP. Prior to joining Helix in late 2011, Varun worked with Avendus Capital, where he led Private Equity and M&A transactions across sectors like infrastructure, renewable energy, metals and mining, media, etc. Earlier, Varun was a Consultant with KPMG Business Performance Services.
Varun received his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, University of Calcutta (silver medallist), and his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. Varun is also a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary (gold medallist).
Aman Agarwal
Aman Agarwal is a Vice President with Helix Investments Management LLP. Prior to joining Helix in mid-2025, Aman worked with Faering Capital, where he focused on growth-stage investments in consumer and technology verticals. Earlier, Aman worked as an investment banker at DC Advisory, where he executed private equity and M&A transactions across sectors like technology services, software/ SaaS, cybersecurity, and consumer technology. Prior to DC Advisory, Aman worked as a consultant at PwC, in their operational diligence team, and prior to PwC, he worked with TCS, as a functional consultant.
Aman received his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata (rank holder), and his MBA from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai (gold medallist). Aman is also a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary.
Edgar Cullman, Jr.
Edgar Cullman Jr. is a Director of Helix Investments. Mr. Cullman is also a co-founder and managing member of Culbro LLC. Mr. Cullman previously was president of General Cigar Holdings and Culbro Corporation.
A graduate of Yale University, Mr. Cullman is a member of the boards of Mount Sinai Hospital, the Brain Trauma Foundation, the Atlantic Salmon Federation and the National Board of the Smithsonian Institution and is a trustee of Eisenhower Fellowships. He is also a member of the boards of Griffin Industrial Realty Inc, TDBBS LLC, Med Emporium LLC and LearningMate Solutions Pvt Ltd. He is a former director of Doral Financial Corporation, General Cigar Holdings, Culbro Corporation and Hi-Rel Electronics.
David Danziger
David Danziger is a Director of Helix Investments. He is also a co-founder and managing member of Culbro LLC. Mr. Danziger’s previous experience was in marketing and finance.
A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, Mr. Danziger serves on the boards of Griffin Industrial Realty Inc, TDBBS LLC, Med Emporium LLC and LearningMate Solutions Pvt. Ltd. He is a former director of Doral Bank NY, General Cigar Holdings, MT Educare, Hi-Rel Electronics and Goodlife IFS.
John Fletcher
For over 40 years Mr. Fletcher has served in a variety of positions at Bloomingdale Properties. As a diversified family office, its investments have ranged from real estate, public market portfolios, hedge funds as well as venture capital and private equity transactions.
Today besides managing the affairs of Bloomingdale Properties, he also works closely with Culbro LLC on their investments in the US and in India. Mr. Fletcher is the former Chairman of Culbro Land Resources Inc. and Doral Bank NY, FSB. He is a member of the board of LearningMate Solutions Pvt Ltd.
