Varun is a Director at Helix Investments and leads the India office. He has been associated with Helix for over 15 years and during this tenure served as the observer at several investee companies including LearningMate Solutions Pvt Ltd, M.E. Energy Pvt Ltd, Netscribes India Pvt Ltd, Network Intelligence Pvt Ltd, Dentzz, Indus Insights Pvt Ltd.
Previously, Varun worked in investment banking and management consulting. With over 20 years of combined experience, he brings extensive expertise in investing, portfolio mentoring, and business consulting across sectors.
Varun is a business graduate (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and a commerce graduate from St. Xavier’s College Kolkata (silver medallist). He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (rank holder) and a Company Secretary (gold medallist).
Aman Agarwal
Vice President
Aman is a Vice President at Helix Investments since 2025 and has more than 3 years of investing experience across sectors. Previously, Aman has worked in investing, investment banking, and consulting with a combined experience of over 10 years.
Aman is a business graduate (MBA) from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai (gold medallist) and a commerce graduate from St. Xavier’s College Kolkata (rank holder). He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary.

Edgar Cullman, Jr.
Managing Member
Edgar is a co-founder and Managing Member of Helix Investments. He has served as a director on the boards of several investee companies of Helix and Culbro, including LearningMate Solutions Pvt Ltd, Hi-Rel Electronics Pvt Ltd, TDBBS LLC, Med Emporium LLC.
Previously, at the Cullman family businesses, he served as the President of General Cigar Holdings and Culbro Corporation, and director of Griffin Industrial Realty Inc. With over 30 years of operating experience, Edgar brings exceptional industry and operating expertise.
A graduate of Yale University, Edgar has also served on the boards of several public institutions in the US such as the Mount Sinai Hospital, the Brain Trauma Foundation, the Atlantic Salmon Federation, the National Board of the Smithsonian Institution, the visiting committee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Yale University Council. He is also a trustee of Eisenhower Fellowships.
David Danziger
Managing Member
David is a co-founder and Managing Member of Helix Investments. He has served as a director on the boards of several investee companies of Helix and Culbro, including LearningMate Solutions Pvt Ltd, Hi-Rel Electronics Pvt Ltd, Netscribes India Pvt Ltd, Network Intelligence Pvt Ltd, TDBBS LLC, Med Emporium LLC.
Previously, David worked in various positions in finance, strategy, operations, and marketing & sales at the Cullman family businesses, General Cigar, Villazon, and Culbro Corporation. He oversaw several business acquisitions and integrations during this tenure and brings a distinctive combination of financial and operating expertise.
A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, David also worked at the Shearson Lehman Hutton and a deputy director of budget & analysis for the Bureau of Bridges (NYC Department of Transportation).
John Fletcher
Managing Member
John works as an operating partner at Helix Investments (India) and Culbro LLC (USA). He has served as a director on the boards of investee companies of Helix and Culbro, including LearningMate Solutions Pvt Ltd.
For over 50 years John has served in a variety of positions at Bloomingdale Properties, USA. As a diversified family office, its investments have ranged from real estate, public market portfolios, hedge funds, as well as venture capital and private equity transactions. John also served as the former Chairman of Culbro Land Resources Inc. and Doral Bank NY, FSB.
